Surface
-country in the heart of Europe so we haven’t got sea
-it consist of 3 historical parts :Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia, but in fact CZ consist of 13 regions and capital city Prague (Ústí nad Labem region, Plzeň region, South Moravia region…)
-borders with Germany in the west, Poland in the north, Slovakia in the east and Austria in the south
-CZ is surrounded by the wide mountain rangers: The well known are Ore mountains in the west, Giants in the north and Šumava in the south.
-Country is dominated by highlands but by the rivers are lowlands.
-The biggest rivers, which flows in Bohemia , are Vltava, Ohře and Elbe (Vltava and Elbe are also use for the river transport), in Moravia and Silesia the biggest rivers are Odra, Moravia and Thaya.
-In Šumava there are two biggest lakes Black lake and Devil lake, so how you can see, we don’t have a lot of lakes but our country is well-known for ponds and dams.
Population
-more than 10milion inhabitants
-most of population are atheist (only more than 1milion are catholics)
-there aren’t many immigrants, but if they are there, they are from Vietnam, Slovakia and from Eastern Europe. In past there were 3 milions Germans.

-After welvet revolution Cz has been democratic state
-country is represented by president Miloš Zeman, but the head of executive power is prime minister Bohuslav Sobotka, who is head of government. Government has power of our Parliament, which consist of two chambers the chamber of deputies and senate
